I have received a Notice of Intended Prosecution. What are my options?

I am not sure how to fill out the form you have sent me.
You should have been sent a leaflet with your letter entitled ‘How To Fill Out The Form’. You can view the form here. If you were the driver of the car, fully complete Part 1 and Part 3 and return it to the Road Safety Unit.
I was not driving the car at the time of the offence. What do I do now?
If you were not the driver at the time of the offence, tick the relevant box in Part 2 of the form and enter the details of the driver in the section below entitled ‘Nominated Person’s Details’ and return it to the Road Safety Unit.
I had sold the vehicle and am no longer the owner / I have never been the owner / keeper / hirer of the vehicle. What do I do now?
If you have sold on the vehicle, tick the relevant box in Part 2 of the form and enter the details of the driver in the section below entitled ‘Nominated Person’s Details’ and return to it to us. If you have never been the owner / keeper / hirer of the vehicle, tick the relevant box in Part 2 and sign this section then return it to the Road Safety Unit.
I have been sent a warning letter about a Notice of Intended Prosecution and have a question.
If you have been sent a warning letter, please fill it in and return it to us. If you have already sent us the form previously, please still fill in the warning letter as it may not have reached us.
I would like to see photographic evidence of the offence.
You should only request the evidence to establish identity if you are not sure who was driving the vehicle at the time. We are not obliged to release the evidence but do so to assist the motorist. Click here to fill in an online form to request the evidence. You will need the reference number on your letter starting ‘CO’ followed by 7 digits.
I would like to see a Camera Calibration certificate and / or a Camera Operator training certificate.

What are Speed Awareness Workshops and can I go on one?
Speed Awareness Workshops are an educational alternative to the fine and penalty points. The offer of attending a course is only made for low-level speeding offences. I have received a Conditional Offer, where do I send my fine payment and Driver’s Licence?
DO NOT send your fine payment and Driver’s Licence to the Road Safety Unit / Leicestershire Constabulary. You need to send you full Driver’s License to:Her Majesty’s Courts Service

I sent my fine payment and Driver’s Licence some time ago. How long does it take for it to be endorsed with the points and returned to me?
The fine payment and points take up to 2 weeks to process. This is done at the Fixed Penalty Office at Coalville Magistrates’ Court. If you have not had your licence returned within 2 weeks call +44 (0)1530 278 340.
